Newsletter
As many of you are aware this newsletter has not be produced since July 2006 with many of ZETAR events being cancelled. This was due to the long term illness of my daughter Lisa and her death on 27th November. Lisa left her husband Martin and daughter Emily two. On behalf of my family I would like to give my heart felt thanks to all who contributed to the floral tributes, and the collection for the Karen Ball fund.
We have raised around £500 so far.

JAA Shidokan
Kenshi Uno 7th Dan Aikido,3rd Dan Kendo formed the Japan Aikido Association Shidokan on 12th September 2006. Kenshi Uno has asked ZETAR to be a part of this new organization.
Although this is a new venture within the Tomiki Aikido world we hope that we can offer JAA Menjo ourselves as an option to ZETAR students.

Dr Lee Ah Loi 7th Dan
Dr Lee Ah Loi 7th Dan Tomiki Aikido, 7th Dan Jodo, 7th Dan Iai-do has been appointed a Shihan of the Shidokan.
Dr Lee is the first non Japanese Tomiki Aikidoka to be awarded the rank of   Shihan.
Dr Lee Ah Loi was my Aikido instructor from 1980 until her retirement to Australia in 2003 and without doubt is one of the best Tomiki Aikidoka in the world technically.

Wakarishin
Wakarishin is Japanese for new beginning. I think that is where we are going as a grroup. Our aim is to be politically free from outside influence but have friendly links to organisations who have common technical standards and goals.
